hello you

My name is Magda.

In July 2021 I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer at the age of 34. I am currently undergoing treatment for HER2+ invasive ductal carcinoma in my left breast. I am early stage, but due to the aggressive nature of my cancer, I am scheduled to go through the entire suite of treatment options available: neoadjuvant chemotherapy + anti-HER2 treatment, surgery, radiation and then further anti-HER2 treatment (and possibly more depending on the response).

I spent weeks trying to understand my diagnosis and to find some solace on the internet. If you’re here because you are in that spot right now - my hope is I can help you by sharing facts and information about breast cancer, diagnosis and treatment in a digestible way. If it’s helpful, I am also sharing my experience. Feel free to look around and reach out to me if you have any questions, or would just like to connect and chat.

If you’re here because you’ve been following my journey, thank you for the support and love. Early detection saves lives, so I’m hoping sharing my journey will help raise some awareness for you, for your friends and others in your network.

This website is a reflection of my personal experience and should not be treated as medical advice. If you noticed a change in your body, you should consult a doctor.
