Welcome!
My name is Magda and I am a HER2+ Breast Cancer Survivor.
I was diagnosed in July 2021, and went through the following treatment plan:
5 months of chemotherapy (12 rounds of paclitaxel, following by 4 rounds of adriamycin & cyclophosphamide, also known as The Red Devil),
Surgery: lumpectomy with oncoplasty and sentinel lymph node biopsy,
Radiotherapy: 15 rounds of radiation to the left breast and armpit, followed by an additional 5 rounds of boosted radiotherapy to the tumor bed,
Targeted anti-HER2+ treatment: 18 rounds of Herceptin and Perjeta, targeting my specific sub-type of breast cancer.
